Brit Awards 2026: Rosalía to make debut performance at ceremony
The list of performers for the Brit Awards has grown again, with Rosalía confirmed for the ceremony.
Prior to the announcement of the Spanish pop powerhouse, it had been previously revealed that Wolf Alice, Mark Ronson, Olivia Dean and Harry Styles would be entertaining those in attendance.
Now, it has been confirmed that Rosalía, for the first time in her career, will be taking to the stage at the Brit Awards, set to take place at the Co-op Live in Manchester on February 28th.
Rosalía recently made UK chart history with her 2025 album, Lux, which is the highest-charting record by a Spanish female artist ever in Britain. The LP, which saw her sing in 14 different languages, peaked in fourth position.
Rosalía will be looking to win her first Brit Award at the ceremony. She is nominated for ‘International Artist of the Year’, but faces competition from Bad Bunny, Chappell Roan, CMAT, Doechii, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Sombr, Taylor Swift, and Tyler, the Creator.
The announcement of Rosalía’s performance comes a day after the Brits shared that Oasis icon Noel Gallagher will be heading home to Manchester to collect his award for ‘Songwriter of the Year’.
The other confirmed winners are Mark Ronson, who is to be honoured with ‘Outstanding Contribution to Music’ and Jacob Alon, who was previously named the ‘Critics’ Choice’ winner.
The nominations in 2026 this year are led by Olivia Dean and Lola Young, with the two homegrown stars picking up five nods each.
Meanwhile, the coveted ‘Album of the Year’ category will see Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving compete against Sam Fender’s People Watching, Dave’s The Boy with the Harp, Lily Allen’s West End Girl, and Wolf Alice’s The Clearing.
Jack Whitehall will host the ceremony on February 28th, which will also be shown on ITV 1 and ITV X.
