The shooting star of Billie Eilish has opened up about the making of her latest single ‘everything i wanted’ in a brand new video.
The singer has continued to find critical and widespread acclaim for her inventive and subversive sound. The ‘Bad Guy’ singer shared the video in collaboration with Beats by Dre.
The artist was working with the mega sonics company to promote her own line of ‘Beats Solo Pro headphones’ and the video has been released to peek behind the scenes of the creative process for Eilish.
The video is a touching family moment, it turns out. It sees Eilish and her brother, Finneas, working together in the studio and recording ‘everything i wanted’. – it even ends with the siblings presenting their mother with the song after which the parent duly cries.
In the video, Eilish says, “Finneas came up with, ‘As long as I’m here, no one can hurt you.’ We decided to make it about our relationship and how we help each other and like deal with things together.
“It just completely like paved the way for the rest of the song.”
