Billie Eilish has confirmed details of her new 3D concert film, co-directed alongside Oscar-winner James Cameron.
The official announcement was made by Eilish at the final night of her Hit Me Hard and Soft tour, which wrapped up in San Francisco on November 23rd.
Following the show, Eilish took to Instagram to confirm the news that the concert film would arrive in cinemas on March 20th, 2026.
Alongside an image of her and Cameron, Eilish wrote, “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) coming to theatres on march 20th 2026 !!!!”.
Eilish continued, “This has been one of my favorite tours everrrrrr and being able to capture it and co-direct this film with James Cameron has truly been a dream come true. can’t wait for you all to see it.”
The ‘Birds of a Feather’ singer revealed news of the concert film when she began a four-night residency at Co-op Live in Manchester in July, explaining to fans, “So, you may have noticed there’s more cameras than usual up here. Basically, I can’t say much about it, but I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron, and it’s going to be in 3D.”
She added, “So take that as you will and these four shows here in Manchester, you and me are part of a thing that I am making with him.”
Eilish then told the crowd that Cameron was “in this audience somewhere” and explained for logistical reasons, “I’ll probably be wearing this exact outfit for like four days.”
Her huge world tour was in support of her third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, which began in September 2024, and has taken Eilish across the world, performing more than 100 shows across the way.
Eilish played an impressive six nights at the O2 Arena in London, as well as multiple nights at iconic arenas such as New York’s Madison Square Garden and the KIA Forum in California.
