Billie Eilish announces expansion of ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ world tour
Billie Eilish has announced a new expansion of her world tour in support of her latest album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, with new dates added in the US and Japan.
The album arrived over 12 months ago, and Eilish has been continuously touring the record since the end of September. In 2024, she completed an initial run of arenas across North America but will now be returning to the road to play mainly in cities that didn’t make the cut last year, with the occasional exception, such as Philadelphia.
The run of dates will begin in Miami with three shows at the Kaseya Center in October before Eilish will head to Orlando, Raleigh, Charlotte, Philadelphia and Long Island later that month.
Then, in November, the tour will resume after a brief break with two concerts in New Orleans ahead of visits to Tulsa, Austin, Phoenix and San Francisco.
Additionally, Eilish has announced two performances at the Saitama Super Arena in Tokyo, Japan, on August 16th and 17th.
The ‘Birds of a Feather’ singer is currently on the European leg of the tour, which began in Stockholm, Sweden, last month. The run of performances resumes in Cologne on May 29th with scheduled trips to Prague, Krakow, Vienna, Bologna, Paris and Barcelona lined-up before Eilish touches down in the UK and Ireland in July.
In addition to performing in Glasgow and Dublin, Eilish will headline six shows at the O2 Arena in London and four shows at the Co-op Live in Manchester.
Despite currently being on the road in Europe rather than attending the Met Gala, Eilish recently criticised fake AI images of her on the red carpet that have circulated across social media.
“Seeing people talk about what I wore to this year’s Met Gala being trash,” she began. “I wasn’t there! That’s AI. I had a show in Europe that night,” Eilish added, referring to a show in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, a venue she played on May 4th and 5th.
