The eight most important Beatles songs, according to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
The influence of the Fab Four.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a museum and institution dedicated to recognising the artists, producers, songwriters and industry figures who have made significant contributions to the development of rock and roll and popular music.
Established in 1983 by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation, the first induction ceremony took place in 1986, while the museum opened in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1995. Inductees are selected by an international voting body and typically become eligible 25 years after the release of their first commercial recording.
Over the decades, the Hall of Fame has expanded beyond traditional rock music to honour influential artists from genres including soul, hip hop, country, pop and heavy metal, making it one of music’s most prestigious honours.
