Zendaya claims “many people have been fooled” by AI wedding photos to Tom Holland

Zendaya has claimed “many people have been fooled” by AI pictures that circulated online, purportedly showing her wedding to Tom Holland.

Fake pictures of the actors surfaced on social media last week, claiming to have been shot at their private wedding after Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, previously said that the pair had allegedly tied the knot in secret, although this has not been confirmed.

Now, after appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on March 16th, Zendaya addressed the AI scandal, saying “many people had been fooled” by the images.

When the subject was first brought up by Kimmel, the actor jokingly replied: “Really? I haven’t seen any of that!”, before adding, “I was just out and about in real life and people were like, ‘Oh my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous.’ And I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI. They’re not real!’”

Despite the photos being fake, it did seem that Zendaya was wearing two rings on her left hand during the chat show, suggesting that her stylist’s comments about the wedding having already taken place may be accurate.

However, she also noted that “many people” that she knows in real-life had also been fooled by the AI pictures, with Kimmel asking if anyone had been offended at not being invited, to which she replied, “Yeah”.

It comes at one of the busiest times in the actor’s career so far, with her new romance film The Drama with Robert Pattinson arriving in cinemas on April 3rd in the US.

On top of this, she is set to return to her role as MJ in the Marvel universe opposite fiancé Holland in Spiderman: Brand New Day, which is slated for release at the end of July.

However, most current attention is focused on the trailer for Dune 3, which she stars in with Timothée Chalamet. The trailer for the Denis Villeneuve sci-fi epic is expected to arrive later on March 17th.
