Yungblud and Aerosmith announce collaborative new EP, ‘One More Time’
Yungblud has confirmed details of a new five-track EP, titled One More Time, with classic rock band Aerosmith.
The EP is set for release on November 21st, and is set to be previewed on September 19th with the brand-new single, ‘My Only Angel’.
The announcement was made via Yungblud’s Instagram page. The post reads: “One More Time. A new EP by Aerosmith & Yungblud releasing November 21st. Preorder now in the link in either account’s bio. The first single ‘My Only Angel’ will be released this Friday at midnight.”
The message continues, “Long live rock n roll music. Love forever, Aerosmith and Yungblud.”
Earlier this month, at the MTV VMAs, which took place in New York at the UBS Arena on September 7th, Yungblud honoured the late Black Sabbath icon Black Sabbath with with assistance of Aerosmith duo Joe Perry and Steven Tyler, as well as Nuno Bettencourt.
It also later emerged that Yungblud wore trousers once owned by Iggy Pop and a necklace gifted to him by Osbourne for the performance, which saw him deliver renditions of ‘Changes’, ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home’ and ‘Crazy Train’.
Then, earlier this week, Aerosmith shared a snippet of ‘My Only Angel’ and confirmed a collaboration with Yungblud was in the works. In the teaser, they sing the lyrics: “Will you cry/ if I called you my angel/ gotta leave, gotta leave, gotta leave you one more time.”
However, now it has emerged that they’ve made an entire EP, which also includes a 2025 mix of the classic Aerosmith track, ‘Back in the Saddle’, which originally appeared on the band’s 1976 album, Rocks.
In other Aerosmith news, despite the band retiring from touring due to Steven Tyler’s vocal chord issues, he’s expected to perform with Perry at The Hollywood Bowl on September 17th when the guitarist supports The Who on their farewell tour.
