Wet Leg, Underworld, TV on the Radio, Beth Gibbons and Kneecap to headline Green Man
Green Man have announced Wet Leg, Underworld, TV on the Radio, Beth Gibbons and Kneecap as headliners of the 2025 edition of the Welsh festival.
The beloved festival takes place in the picturesque surroundings of Wales’ Bannau Brycheiniog National Park between August 14th and August 17th. Even before any acts were announced for Green Man, it had already completely sold-out within 60 minutes of going on sale.
West Belfast’s Kneecap will headline the festival on Thursday and perform on the Far Out Stage. The band released its debut album, Fine Art, in 2024 and is set to play a series of big shows across the summer, including a headline performance at Wide Awake in London.
Meanwhile, Wet Leg will headline the Friday on the Mountain Stage. Other acts set to grace the Brecon Beacons during that same day include Wunderhorse, Greentea Peng, Los Campesios, John Grant and Panda Bear.
On the Saturday, it’s Underworld’s time to headline the Mountain Stage. The electronic dance act are joined by CMAT, English Teacher, MJ Lenderman, Fat Dog, Perfume Genius, Just Mustard and Gwenno.
For the final day of the festival, New York’s TV on the Radio will co-headline the Sunday along with Portishead singer Beth Gibbons, who released her debut solo album last year.
In a four-and-a-half star review of Gibbons’ first solo offering, Lives Outgrown, Far Out wrote: “The singer’s recognisable voice is gorgeous as always, but she’s leaned away from the trip-hop beats that define Portishead and moved further into the realm of classical instrumentation, where strings and brass form a grandiose palette. It’s a record that is hard to ignore – deeply reflective, euphoric, melancholic and addictive.”
Yard Act, Warmduscher, Kelly Lee Owens, Nilüfer Yanya, Asha Putali, Cassandra Jenkins, Big Special, Divorce and High Contrast will also appear on the final day of Green Man.
