Watch Hayley Williams perform with Lucy Dacus, Jack Antonoff and more at star-studded Newport Folk Festival set
Hayley Williams celebrated her Newport Folk Festival set in style after inviting plenty of friends and collaborators to perform duets with her, including Jack Antonoff, Lucy Dacus, Karly Hartzman and more.
Williams, who has had a busy 2026 touring her third solo release, Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, performed a special set at the iconic festival at Fort Adams Skate Park in Newport on July 24th.
After kicking her set off with two new songs, ‘Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party’ and ‘Kill Me’, the performer welcomed her first guest: Wednesday frontwoman, Karly Hartzman, for her heavier single, ‘Mirtazapine’.
Following this, Williams performed a cover of the This Is Lorelei song, ‘I’m All Fucked Up’, with This Is Lorelei, real name Nate Amos. Earlier this year, Williams shared a cover of his song, ‘Perfect Hand’, through her other musical moniker, Power Snatch.
The Paramore vocalist then performed a cover of Joy Oladokun’s ‘I’d Miss the Birds’ with Oladokun on stage, before performing a cover of Liam Benzvi’s ‘Thin Air’, also with the original artist.
From there, the ‘Misery Business’ singer invited Annie DiRusso on stage for her song ‘Disappearing Man’; DiRusso provided much of the support for Williams’ recent North American tour.
Following a Rilo Kiley cover with Jenny Lewis, and a live debut of her 2022 solo track, ‘Leave It Alone’, with Kelsey Lu, Williams welcomed Boy Genius star Lucy Dacus to the stage to perform another live debut of her song ‘Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris’.
The flurry of superstar guests didn’t stop there, as Williams invited Remi Wolf for the live debut of a new Wolf song, ‘Twiggy Little Butt’.
After appearances from Phoenix Rousiamanis and Madi Diaz, Williams dazzled fans with a cover of the Bleachers’ hit, ‘I Wanna Get Better’, with her long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff. He remained on stage to assist Williams with a cover of her bouncy, R&B-leaning track, ‘Good Ol’ Days’.
The huge host of musical faces were welcomed to the stage once more as Williams led the group through one final cover of Bill Withers’ classic track, ‘Lean on Me’.
