Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are set to score David Fincher’s new film ‘Mank’
The two members of Nine Inch Nails, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, have quickly become the hottest properties in Hollywood after some successful stints at scoring some of the largest TV productions in recent memory.
Taking on HBO’s Watchmen as well as Bird Box, Reznor and Ross are now ready to reconnect with director David Fincher for his new film, Mank.
The pair have worked with Fincher on two previous occasions, taking on the score for The Social Network and Gone Girl and now are ready to score the new film Mank in a very authentic way.
The film will be set in the 1940s and by way of authenticity, Ross and Reznor have suggested they will only use instruments form the same period to ensure a degree of sonic integrity.
The black-and-white film will see Gary Oldman take on the role of Citizen Kane writer Herman Mankiewicz and will arrive to Netflix in 2020.
