Thurston Moore encourages fans to vote with new song ‘May Daze’

Thurston Moore has released ‘May Daze’, his latest song aimed to urge American fans to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

Moore, teaming up with producer Paul Epworth at the Church in London for the song, his joined by his Thurston Moore Group bandmates which includes My Bloody Valentine bassist Deb Googe, former Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley and guitarist James Sedwards.

“A soundtrack for our usa sisters + brothers to register as voters today, if you still need to – we can change the world – free all political prisoners – insurrection for common decency – rock n roll consciousness – more to come,” Moore wrote on Bandcamp.

‘May Daze’ is the latest of a number of rare tracks that Moore has uploaded to Bandcamp over the past couple of months.
