The Streets release new song ‘I Wish You Loved You As Much As You Love Him’

Mike Skinner has today released a new single from The Streets titled ‘I Wish You Loved You As Much As You Love Him’ and features Donae’o and Greentea Peng.

This is the second track that Skinner has shared from the upcoming Streets mixtape following the release of ‘Call My Phone Think I’m Doing Better’ which featured Tame Impala and was accompanied by the B-side ‘Where The F*&K Did April Go’ which is full of his trademark wit.

The Birmingham native had this to say about the latest single: “This is a summer club song. Knowing that Donae’o is the king of UK Funky music — match made in heaven.”

Adding: “Greentea Peng was the perfect foil for this, her melodies are unique and she’s wicked. I’ve spent the last three weeks working on the video for this one. It better be good.”

The upcoming mixtape is also set to feature collaborations from the likes of IDLES, Jimothy Lacoste as well as the former leader of The Music and frequent Streets collaborator Rob Harvey.
