The National and The XX to headline brand new London festival

The xx and The National have been announced as the first two headliners for a brand new London festival held at Victoria Park called All Points East.

The xx are set to headline the ten-day event on Saturday 26th May, alongside special guests Popcaan and Lykki Li, with further supports set to be announced. The National will then appear the following weekend on June 2nd, with support coming from The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Warpaint and The Districts with more guests still to be revealed.

The ten-date event will take place from 25th May to 3rd June in London’s Victoria Park next year, the music section of All Points East will come in two halves, a three-day festival which will see The xx grace Victoria Park. Organisers have also promised there will be three huge standalone shows that will also make up the festival at the end of the week.

The festival is set to replace Field Day and Lovebox Festival, which both took place at Victoria Park.

The National recently brought their new No.1 album ‘Sleep Well Beast’ on Jools Holland, which you can watch here.
