The 1950s singer Neil Peart called cooler than everyone else: “The epitome”
The epitome of cool.

Canadian born, Neil Peart was the drummer and lyricist of the progressive rock band Rush. His technical expertise as a percussionist earned him an induction into the Modern Drummer Readers Poll Hall of Fame in 1983 becoming one of the youngest members to be inducted at the time.
As a part of Rush, Neil Peart earned legendary status as a percussionist with his incredible stamina and complex polyrhythms especially in songs like ‘Tom Sawyer’, ‘La Villa Strangiato’ and ‘YYZ’ reaching the lightening speed of 150 beats per minute.
The drummer was also an avid reader and an author publishing several books chronicling his life and travels.
