Motörhead were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by bassist, singer and songwriter Lemmy Kilmister.
Renowned for their blistering speed, thunderous sound and uncompromising attitude, the band became one of the most influential acts in heavy music, bridging the worlds of heavy metal, punk rock and hard rock. Their breakthrough album, ‘Ace of Spades’, established Motörhead as international stars, while relentless touring and a reputation for explosive live performances earned them a fiercely loyal following.
