Josh Homme is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer best known as the founder, frontman and principal songwriter of Queens of the Stone Age.
Emerging from the Californian desert rock scene with Kyuss in the early 1990s, Homme helped pioneer a distinctive style that blended hard rock, stoner rock, alternative rock and psychedelic influences.
Following the dissolution of Kyuss, he formed Queens of the Stone Age, releasing acclaimed albums such as ‘Rated R’, ‘Songs for the Deaf’ and ‘…Like Clockwork’. Renowned for his inventive guitar work, collaborative spirit and distinctive baritone vocals, Homme has also worked with Eagles of Death Metal, Them Crooked Vultures and The Desert Sessions. He is widely regarded as one of the most influential rock musicians of his generation.
