The 1994 song that crowned Neil Young the ‘Godfather of Grunge’
An emotional track.

Crazy Horse are an American rock band best known for their long-running collaboration with Neil Young.
Formed in Los Angeles in the late 1960s from the ashes of the Rockets, the band developed a raw, guitar-driven sound that became synonymous with Young’s most celebrated electric recordings. Featuring members including Billy Talbot, Ralph Molina and, for many years, Frank ‘Poncho’ Sampedro, Crazy Horse have backed Young on landmark albums such as ‘Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere’, ‘Zuma’, ‘Rust Never Sleeps’ and ‘Ragged Glory’.
The band has also released several albums under its own name, showcasing its blend of hard rock, country rock and garage rock. Revered for their loose, powerful performances and extended guitar jams, Crazy Horse remain one of rock’s most influential backing bands.
