Summary
After dying in a car accident, Adam and Barbara Maitland find themselves trapped as ghosts inside their country home. When the eccentric Deetz family moves in, the couple struggle to frighten them away and reluctantly summon the chaotic spirit Beetlejuice to help. His increasingly reckless antics create far more problems than solutions, forcing the Maitlands and Lydia Deetz to work together to stop him before he gains permanent access to the living world.
