Summary
While returning to Earth, the crew of the commercial towing vessel Nostromo responds to a mysterious distress signal from a remote moon. After investigating, one crew member becomes infected by a parasitic alien organism that eventually develops into a lethal creature stalking the ship. As the crew are hunted one by one, warrant officer Ellen Ripley fights to survive against the seemingly unstoppable extraterrestrial threat while uncovering the corporation's hidden agenda.
