Sydney Sweeney announces soap made with her bathwater
Superstar Sydney Sweeney has announced a new soap made in part with her bathwater.
The White Lotus actor took to Instagram to reveal the new product. She wrote in the paid partnership post, “You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it. Introducing Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater.”
The product will launch on June 6th. It harkens back to a similar move made by Gwyneth Paltrow, when she capitalised off obsessive fans to sell a candle that smelled like her vagina. In the same vein, Sweeney has turned inappropriate comments into a catalyst for capital gain.
The Sun reports that only 5,000 bars of the soap are being sold. Those who purchase the soap will reportedly receive a certificate confirming that it’s been made with Sweeney’s bathwater.
The smell is “the ultimate blend of outdoor serenity with refreshing notes of pine, douglas fir, earthy moss, and a touch of Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss.” Sweeney has been an ambassador for the brand since October 2024. She previously starred in an ad selling body wash. While sitting in a bubble bath she addressed the camera: “Hello you dirty little boys, are you interested in my body… wash?”
Sweeney first made her name in the popular US drama Euphoria, alongside now global sensation Zendaya. The final addition to the Euphoria series has had several setbacks, but is set for release in 2026 and is currently in production. Sweeney also appeared in the first season of HBO series White Lotus.
Sweeney is lined up for many exciting projects in the year ahead. She is teaming up with Wicked director Jon M Chu for an adaptation of the beloved game ‘Split Fiction’. Sweeney will also star in a movie based on an English teacher’s viral Reddit post. The Anyone But You star is additionally lined up for a Gundam movie.
