Stevie Nicks cancels tour dates due to injury

Stevie Nicks has cancelled all of her upcoming tour dates in August and September due to a shoulder injury.

In a statement posted to the singer’s social media on August 1st, it was confirmed that all tour dates up until October 1st will be affected, as the Fleetwood Mac vocalist requires recovery time before her shoulder heals.

The statement reads, “Due to a recent injury resulting in a fractured shoulder that will require recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled concerts in August and September will be rescheduled. Please note that October dates will be unaffected.”

The post also contains information for fans surrounding potential refunds and rescheduled dates. “More information will be available at point of purchase, ticketholders are advised to hold on to their tickets and consult the list of rescheduled dates,” it reads, “All previously purchased tickets will be honoured on the new date.”

The news comes shortly after Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham confirmed they will be reissuing their 1973 album Buckingham Nicks. Following a series of cryptic clues posted in various cities and all over social media, the former duo confirmed the album will be available digitally on September 19th, 2025.

Nick’s previously alleged that Buckingham was stopping the album from being reissued. During an interview in 1981, she said, “See, he owns half, I own half. So he can’t do anything on that record with me and vice versa.” She continued, “So as soon as he says it’s okay, it will be done, because I’ve been saying I thought it would be a great idea for a long time.”

Fans will hope Nicks will play some of her classics on the postponed tour dates. The next show that Nicks is scheduled to play is on October 1st in Portland.
