Smashing Pumpkins announce new album and share a new song
Smashing Pumpkins have announced a new album. Shiny and Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun. which is out November 16th via Napalm. To add to the announcement they’ve shared a brand new song from the upcoming LP.
Recorded with legendary producer Rick Rubin, Shiny and Oh So Bright features the founding members of the band Billy Corgan, James Iha, Jimmy Chamberlin, with longtime collaborative guitarist Jeff Schroeder – but notably without D’Arcy Wretzky following their public feud.
The news comes with a chunky caveat of a brand new single ‘Silvery Sometimes (Ghosts)’. The track follows ‘Solara,’ which is also set to appear on the new album which we will see later in the year.
