Slipknot’s Corey Taylor says he “blew out” his left testicle while singing
Corey Taylor, the lead singer of heavy metal band Slipknot, suffered a serious injury to his testicles while performing.
The incident has occurred as the band prepare to hit the road on an extensive run of tour dates that will see them performing right through to November.
Practicing for what will be a headline set at Rockfest in Hyvinkaa in Finland this weekend, Taylor pushed his goals too hard and suffered an injury to his left testicle, or so he claims.
Taking to social media, Taylor tweeted: “Working on my ‘87 Dokken high notes this morning. Fucked around and blew out the left testicle. Careful on re-entry, kids” and added a string of graphic hashtags.
The band, who kick things off in Finland on Friday, will then head to Germany’s Rock Im Park in Hamburg the day after. Stops in Nurburg, Prague, Austria, Switzerland and Castle Donington in the UK are all parts fo Slipknot’s major European tour.
At the end of July, after a mammoth run, the band will head to Canada, North America, Australia and New Zealand.
Furthermore, Slipknot will release their new studio album We Are Not Your Kind, on August 9 through Roadrunner Records.
