Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs denies all sexual assault allegations
After a fourth woman made sexual assault allegations against him, rapper Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs has shared a new statement denying any wrongdoing.
The latest lawsuit was filed on December 6th. The 14-page document accuses Combs, Harve Pierre, and a third unidentified man of committing gang rape on a 17-year-old in 2003. The girl, who has been given the pseudonym Jane Doe, is alleged to have been trafficked across state lines to his recording studio in Manhattan, where they claim she was given “copious amounts of drugs and alcohol”.
Pierre, who is a close associate of Combs, is alleged to have met Doe in Detroit and told her he was “best friends” with Combs. She was then invited to come with him to New York on a private jet. Doe claims to have been “convinced” to take the trip and alleges that Pierre smoked crack cocaine in the airport lounge before “forc[ing] Ms. Doe’s head down to perform oral sex on him”.
The lawsuit states: “Ms. Doe did not consent to having sex with Mr. Combs, but he continued thrusting. At some point, Mr. Combs turned Ms. Doe around to face him. He told her that he could not orgasm and asked her to squeeze his nipples as hard as she could to help him ‘get off.’ He then turned her back around and continued to rape her.”
Following the alleged incident, Doe says she “fell into the fetal position and lay on the floor” and her vagina was in “pain”. After she “regained her bearings”, Doe was taken back to Detroit, but has “very limited recollection” of the flight home.
In response to the allegation, Combs said: “Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.”
R&B singer Cassie, who was in a relationship with Combs for over a decade, was the first to make allegations against the rapper. Combs refuted the claims before agreeing on a settlement with Cassie. Two further allegations followed later in November.
Combs denies all of the allegations against him.
