Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever’s brand new track ‘She’s There’ premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show last night and it comes alongside the announcement of their new album Sideways To New Italy.
Lead by singer-songwriter-guitarists Tom Russo, Joe White and Fran Keaney, and rounded out by bassist Joe Russo and drummer Marcel Tussie, ‘She’s There’ is another shining reason to be excited about the new record. It’s our Track of the Day.
We recently brought you ‘Cars In Space’, the Aussie outfit’s first single from the new album, Sideways To New Italy which lands on June 5th. The second single, ‘She’s There’ comes with a brand new video directed by Nick Mckk.
“I wanted to write songs that I could use as some sort of bedrock of hopefulness to stand on, something to be proud of,” the band’s Fran Keaney said. “A lot of the songs on the new record are reaching forward and trying to imagine an idyll of home and love.”
It’s perfectly executed as the group deliver a romanticised indie anthem that feels like a giant leap towards further international acclaim. It’s another cinematic number which sees Rolling Blackouts C.F. mark themselves out as future stadium fillers.
For now, they are writing golden love songs with driving riffs to make your bedroom dancing that little more stylish.
