Riot Fest 2025: Green Day, Blink-182 and Weezer to headline 20th anniversary

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this September, the punk-rock three-day festival Riot Fest has just announced its full line-up for a packed weekend in Chicago.

Classic pop-punkers Blink-182 will headline the first night. Alt-rockers Weezer will headline Saturday, alongside, as it appears on the promotional poster, icon Jack White. Meanwhile, recent Coachella headliners Green Day will top the bill on Sunday.

The new look line-up of the Sex Pistols will also play at the festival, with Frank Carter replacing John Lydon on vocals. Lydon recently recently addressed the Sex Pistols’ decision to replace him with Carter for their reunion tour, comparing their lineup to “karaoke” and saying that the change “pissed me off”.

Also on the stacked bill sits American parody king ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic, who received his own biopic in 2022, which saw post-Potter star Daniel Radcliffe play his likeness.

British rock band Idles will also perform, as will old-school pop-punk outfit All Time Low and surf-rock outfit The Beach Boys.

Additional acts include Bad Religion, The Pogues, The Wonder Years, The Front Bottoms, Lambrini Girls, Rico Nasty, The Cribs, Rilo Kiley, The Buzzcocks, The Damned, Stiff Little Fingers, Sparks, James, The Hold Steady, The Dropkick Murphys, Soft Play, Inhaler and Knocked Loose.

“We didn’t plan on making it for twenty years. We planned on making it through one weekend. But here we are – still loud, still weird, still building something bigger than we ever meant to,” the festival’s co-founder, Michael Petryshyn, said in a statement.
