Radiohead’s management appear to confirm upcoming tour plans

After Radiohead members recently formed a new company which fuelled speculation of their return, their management have now appeared to confirm they are set to head on tour.

Blueyed Pictures, who manage the Oxfordshire group, recently donated “four tickets to a Radiohead show of your choice” to a Los Angeles fire relief auction run by Palisades High School which ended on March 17th.

According to Resident Advisor, the highest bidder would be able to attend whichever show they wished “based on the band’s tour schedule.” They also claimed to have spoken to an anonymous source who stated Radiohead had held talks regarding holding residencies in various European cities in the autumn.

The four premium tickets were sold to the highest bidder for $4,000 and will be valid until January 1st, 2026, which semmingly confirms Radiohead will tour in 2025. The group last performed in 2018.

The listing described the auction as an “exclusive opportunity” and the “ultimate fan experience” which comes with “top-tier seats”.

Last week, Radiohead formed the new LLP, RHEUK2025. The company lists Johnny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, Philip Selway and Thom Yorke as designated members. While, at this stage, there is no reason attached to the formation of the new company, it does suggest they are set to make a comeback.

Yorke and Johnny Greenwood’s band The Smile previously formed Self Help Tapes LLP shortly before announcing their debut album in 2022. Radiohead also founded Dawn Chorus LLP before embarking upon A Moon Shaped Pool in 2016, Xurbia Xendless Ltd before In Rainbows, Ticker Tape LTD before The King of Limbs and Spin With A Grin before Kid A Mnesia.

In September, Colin Greenwood appeared at the Hay Festival Querétaro and provided an update on the status of Radiohead, “We did some rehearsals about two months ago in London, just to play the old songs. And it was really fun, had a really good time.”

However, Yorke played down the chances of a Radiohead return in October. Talking to Double J, he responded to fan rumours about new music by saying, “I am not aware of it and don’t really give a flying fuck.”

The singer continued, “No offence to anyone and thanks for caring. But I think we’ve earned the right to do what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves or be answerable to anyone else’s historical idea of what we should be doing.”
