During a period when millions of people are forced to remain home amid strict social distancing measures, Radiohead are stepping up to provide some light stress relief to help fill the time.
While Thom Yorke and the band have been dipping into the archives to provide a regular source of live music entertainment during the crisis, their latest merch offering is appealing to those who are looking for a little downtime.
On the box of their new jigsaw puzzle, it reads: “One thousand small pieces must be carefully assembled in the correct and approved manner. Only then will the entirety of the image be apparent to you.”
The item description states: “The millboard is made from 100% recycled material and image printed on an FSC paper source, with water-based inks. The pieces are housed in a cotton cloth bag, within the box. Finished puzzle size: 66cm x 50cm.”
Being sold for £29.99, through Fragmentary Time Waster puzzles, Radiohead’s effort is taken from the cover of their Hail To The Thief-erawith the 2004 EPCom Lag.
“It will not be easy. It is not meant to be easy. It will be easy. It is meant to be easy,” they explained.
