Radiohead appear to tease first shows since 2018
Radiohead have appeared to tease plans to play their first run of live shows since 2018.
According to users on Reddit, flyers have appeared in various European cities which tease dates later this year on the continent. Each poster features the same artwork in different colours, suggesting the band has dates lined up to play in various parts of Europe at the end of 2025.
The flyers suggest the shows will begin in London and will run from November 21st up to the 25th. From there, the band are set to be working on gigs in Copenhagen at the beginning of December up until the 5th and then conclude in Berlin, where they will perform up until December 12th.
However, these are only the flyers that have been spotted so far, and more may surface in the coming days.
Earlier this year, Radiohead’s management seemingly confirmed that the band would return at some point in the future. In an effort to aid fire relief in Los Angeles, the management company Blueyed Pictures said that they were willing to donate “four tickets to a Radiohead show of your choice”, despite the band not announcing anything at the time. The tickets are said to be valid up until January 2026.
This came after Radiohead announced their formation of the company RHEUK2025 earlier in the year, adding more fuel to the fire that they would be staging a comeback.
In October 2024, before the new company was formed, Thom Yorke downplayed rumours of a Radiohead return. When talking about the state of the band, Yorke said that he “[doesn’t] really give a flying fuck” about the speculation, though he appreciates the fans’ concerns. Yorke also said that he felt the band “earned the right” to go at their own pace.
He would go on to say that he liked the idea of the band “[doing] what makes sense to us without having to explain ourselves or be answerable to anyone else’s historical idea of what we should be doing.”
While the band have not been active with any new material in years, they have been working together in other capacities. Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood have been working together in the band The Smile, while Ed O’Brien and Phil Selway have each begun working on solo ventures ever since the release of their 2016 album, A Moon Shaped Pool.
Radiohead are yet to comment on the flyers.
