Pulp to headline Rough Trade 50th anniversary celebrations at Southbank Centre
Pulp have been announced as one of the headliners of the 50th anniversary celebrations for Rough Trade at the Southbank Centre.
It comes as the label’s next round of events in honouring the half a century since they were founded in 1976, with the Sheffield legends set to take to the stage as one of their only UK shows this year.
Pulp will play the entirety of their most recent album More live during their show at the Royal Festival Hall in London on July 18th, as well as a selection of top hits from over the course of their storied discography.
This will kick off a selection of other celebrations in honour of Rough Trade over the days that follow, with Scritti Politti performing both a matinee and an evening show at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on July 19th.
The next day, Caroline will take to the stage at the same venue alongside My New Band Believe, while Jarvis Cocker will head back to the Royal Festival Hall to introduce a screening of the classic 1969 Ken Loach film Kes.
It comes as one of the Sheffield band’s exclusive appearances in the UK for 2026, with them having completed an arena tour around the country upon the release of the album last year, as well as a surprise set at Glastonbury.
However, they have been announced as headliners for End of the Road festival in Dorset, taking place in September, as well as All Together Now in Ireland, taking place at the end of July.
On top of this, they previously announced a special one-off show at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester on August 28th, billed as their “only major UK headline show” for the year.
Tickets for Rough Trade’s 50th anniversary shows, excluding Pulp, will go on presale at 2pm on April 15th, before general sale begins at 2pm on April 16th.
For the Pulp show specifically, presale will begin at 10am on April 17th, before general sale at 2pm on April 20th.
