Phoebe Bridgers announces massive US, UK, and Europe tour after six-year absence

Phoebe Bridgers has announced a massive tour of the US, UK, and Europe, marking her solo comeback after six years.

Bridgers has been gearing up towards this moment over the past few months, playing low-key and intimate shows in sporadic locations.

Following a last-minute charity show she performed at New York’s Madison Square Garden on June 4th, the singer told the crowd that she would be making an announcement regarding her touring plans imminently.

Subsequently, she delivered on that promise on June 5th, announcing a The Lost Tour with a huge stint on the road that will span across the pond from September this year, starting at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on September 15th.

Bridgers will continue touring across the US and Canada throughout September and October, before heading to the UK and Ireland in November for shows in Dublin, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, and London.

Afterwards, she will conclude the tour in December with some time in Europe, starting in Paris at the Adidas Arena on December 4th, and finishing in Stockholm on December 12th at the Avicii Arena.

Most notably, much like all of the smaller shows she has performed so far, all of Bridgers’ gigs will be completely phone-free, with the press release explaining: “Phones, cameras, or any devices with recording and filming capabilities are prohibited. This event will utilise secure pouches to store all devices during the performance.”

It added: “Upon arrival, all phones, smartwatches, and related accessories will be secured in these pouches. Pouches will be unlocked at the conclusion of the show. Any guest observed using a non-permitted device during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.”

Moreover, Bridgers hasn’t actually officially announced the release of any new music yet – according to Variety, she performed eight new songs at the New York show on June 4th, and the tour being named The Lost Tour would tie in with previous reports of a song being called ‘The Lost Boys’.

However, for every ticket sold on the UK and Europe leg, she will be donating £1 or €1 to Plus1, which supports those affected by sexual assault and violence.

Tickets for the tour will go on sale via a pass presale from Fan3 on June 10th at 10am local time, while general sale will begin on June 12th at 10am local time.
