Pearl Jam have announced their largest ever shows in London as they look set to complete two massive performances at BST Hyde Park in London. The dates are scheduled for 2021 and will see both Pixies and IDLES filling the support slots.
The grunge idols will arrive in London to play two nights at American Express presents BST Hyde Park with the central London run of events hoping to return in 2021 having cancelled all activities this year thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
Pearl Jam were just one of the names that had been put down for the 2020 edition of BST Hyde Park. The band have confirmed today that they have been rebooked for BST Hyde Park 2021. The two shows will commence on Friday 9th July and Saturday 10th July.
As with all of the BST Hyde Park events, the headliners are only one part of the show. The support slots this year are equally as impressive with alt-rock heroes Pixies and new-age punk gems IDLES will lead the support on Friday and Saturday respectively.
Prices on tickets start at £70 but, considering this will likely be the only time Pearl Jam drop by the UK next year, we imagine these will go very fast indeed. Adding to that, there are still plenty of acts to be announced too.
If you were one of those fans who had bought tickets for Pearl Jam’s cancelled 2020 appearance at BST Hyde Park, then you will have priority to re-book for this year’s event. Previous ticket holders will get their shot at the tickets at 10am on October 8th, 48 hours before they go on general sale.
