Paul Weller, Primal Scream and Inhaler to play Gig For Gaza fundraiser in London

Paul Weller, Primal Scream and Inhaler are set to play Gig For Gaza in London later this year, which will raise vital money for the Palestinian people.

Weller has curated the line-up for the event, which is his second Gig For Gaza fundraiser. Last year, the former Jam frontman performed alongside Kneecap, Primal Scream, Paloma Faith, and Liam Bailey at the Brixton Academy, which raised over £125,000 in aid.

The concert will take place at London’s Troxy on October 17th, 2025, and will include an acoustic performance from Maverick Sabre in addition to Weller, Primal Scream, and Inhaler. Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja has also created the poster for Gig For Gaza.

The press release for Gig for Gaza states: “Every penny raised from the evening will go directly to Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) and Gaza Forever – two highly respected organisations providing essential on-the-ground support in Gaza.”

It also says: “This event offers more than just an incredible night of music – it’s a chance to stand in solidarity with those enduring unimaginable hardship, and to contribute meaningfully to life-saving humanitarian aid for those facing displacement, violence, and genocide. Every ticket sold and every donation made will help bring relief and hope to people who need it most.”

Last year, during an interview with The Guardian, Weller explained his decision to have a Palestinian flag on display on-stage at a recent concert, stating, “Am I against genocides and ethnic cleansing? Yes, I am, funnily enough. I can’t understand why more people aren’t up in arms about what’s going on.”

He also condemned the British government for their involvement in supporting Israel’s war on Gaza, adding, “We should be ashamed of ourselves, I think. One minute you’re supplying bullets and bombs and guns, and then you’re sending over food. How does that work?”

Meanwhile, last month, Inhaler frontman Eli Hewson used his platform at Glastonbury Festival to show solidarity with Palestine. Before playing ‘It Won’t Always Be Like This’, the Irish singer told the huge crowd on the Other Stage: “I’d like to dedicate this next song to the people of Palestine, to any innocent people being starved or bombed, or genocide for the sake of some lunatics.”

Hewson added: “I feel like we have to say that because our greatest strength is freedom of expression, and there’s no better place for it than right here at Glastonbury. So, be kind to each other, and have a great time.”

Tickets for Gig For Gaza go on sale at 10am on August 1st at See Tickets and DiceFM.
