Ozzy Osbourne to release a new album in January, Sharon Osbourne confirms

Sharon Osbourne has confirmed that her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, will release his new album January.

Ozzy, who has been battling numerous different health issues after suffering a serious accident earlier in the year, is now recovering from pneumonia after serious neck surgery.

Despite having been forced to cancel his planned tour dates, Ozzy has been busy in the studio recording new material and, somewhat surprisingly, will release a brand new album in the new year.

“He’s getting there. He had a very, very bad accident this year, but he’s getting there,” Sharon said in a new interview. “He’s just finished an album, and the album is coming out in January.”

Watch the interview below:

“I’ve got more nuts and bolts in my neck now than my car,” Ozzy said in a recent statement. “I’m not dying, I am recovering: it’s just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would.”

“I’m bored stiff of being stuck on a fucking bed all day. I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again. But you’re going to have to be a bit more patient.”

He reasons that the European tour isn’t happening yet and he shows no signs of retiring “because I’m not ready… I’m not retiring, I’ve got gigs to do”. While Ozzy confirms that the US tour is still happening and that he intends to“knock your fucking socks off.”

So all the lucky US fans get ready for a great show. We hope Ozzy gets well soon so he can get back over the pond to cause chaos and carnage in the UK.
