Ozzy Osbourne postpones UK and European 2020 tour dates again
Due to not being back to full health yet, Ozzy Osbourne announced he is regretfully having to postpone his upcoming European tour, again. It comes as Osbourne is again having to defend himself after suffering from ill health.
The news comes after Ozzy Osbourne received surgery after a fall in his home in LA in January. Due to the injury sustained, Ozzy was rushed into hospital and forced to reschedule the 2019 tour due to recovery time from his injury.
In classic Ozzy fashion, he announced the news via a video in which he moans to fans about how regretful and annoyed he is about having to reschedule the shows.
In the video he describes his injuries saying “this fucking neck thing” and explains that the fall saw him “screw all the vertebrae in my neck”.
“I’ve got more nuts and bolts in my neck now than my car,” he said in the clip. “I’m not dying, I am recovering: it’s just taking a little bit longer than everyone thought it would.”
“I’m bored stiff of being stuck on a fucking bed all day. I can’t wait to get off my ass and get going again. But you’re going to have to be a bit more patient.”
He reasons that the European tour isn’t happening yet and he shows no signs of retiring “because I’m not ready… I’m not retiring, I’ve got gigs to do”. While Ozzy confirms that the US tour is still happening and that he intends to“knock your fucking socks off.” So all the lucky US fans get ready for a great show. We hope Ozzy gets well soon so he can get back over the pond to cause chaos and carnage in the UK.
Ozzy, also confirms a new album is on the way, so 2020 tour could expect to new material to creep into the set.
