Ozzy Osbourne biopic won’t arrive before 2028, Jack Osbourne confirms

Jack Osbourne has confirmed that the upcoming Ozzy Osbourne biopic won’t be released until at least 2028.

The film was first announced in 2021, and the late Black Sabbath frontman was involved in the process prior to his death last July.

Jack, as well as his sister Aimée, are both producing the movie, which is said to follow the famous love story of the Black Sabbath frontman and his wife, Sharon Osbourne.

In a new YouTube video, Jack told viewers (via Blabbermouth), “I can tell you this, we are moving ahead. I was on calls today about it. The script is right there. We are good. This movie will absolutely happen.”

He added, “I’m really excited. It’s very much been a labour of love, of course. But, yeah, I’m excited — I’m excited for everyone to see this film.”

Previously, in January, Jack revealed that they had decided upon the actor to play Ozzy in the long-awaited film, sharing, “Listen, we have our decided pick, and we’re still kind of, you know, I can’t say anything, but it’s a phenomenal, phenomenal actor.”
