Oasis announce 25th anniversary editions of their iconic live album ‘Familiar To Millions’

Oasis have announced a 25th anniversary reissue of their Wembley Stadium live album Familiar To Millions.

The band’s debut live album, recorded at Wembley Stadium in July of 2000, is set for a reissue via Big Brother Recordings, with a release date of November 14th.

Exclusive limited edition 3LP formats, including silver vinyl, Amazon red, black marble, and HMV blue vinyl with alternate coloured sleeve, will be available upon release.

The announcement follows Oasis seventh sold out show at Wembley this summer, a whole 25 years after the Familiar To Millions record, which saw them play at the older version of the stadium.

But it also comes at a time of another anniversary for the band. As they celebrate 30 years of their seminal record (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? the band will release deluxe edition formats, featuring unplugged versions of their five classic tracks; ‘Cast No Shadow’, ‘Wonderwall’, ‘Champagne Supernova’, ‘Acquiesce’ and ‘Morning Glory’.

In other news, it has suddenly become a very real proposition that the band will continue beyond their scheduled shows in 2025. During the latest round of performances at Wembley, Gallagher told the crowd he would “see you next year,” leaving fans hopeful another round of shows could be in the offing.

With rumours abound that the Mancunians could return to Knebworth as part of a 30th anniversary show, the rumour mill is now in a constant state of turning.
