Oasis tease 2026 shows at Wembley: “See you next year!”
Oasis have fuelled rumours of 2026 live dates after another raucous night at Wembley Stadium finished off with a sly remark from Liam Gallagher.
The band returned to the capital city for a pair of weekend dates at Wembley Stadium. Notably, this will be the last set of shows they have booked in England; there are no more scheduled performances beyond the final ‘Live 25’ date on November 23rd in Brazil.
However, Liam Gallagher has fans speculating wildly after he thanked fans near the end of the show for the continued support. “Most of all, I just want to thank you lot for keeping the faith and for putting this band back on the fucking map,” he called.
Liam then added, “Champagne Supernova. See you next year!” Fans are speculating that, after this pointed remark, they might announce more concrete details at their final London show.
Though he may not be referring to live dates, next year marks another important date for a band: the 30th anniversary of their landmark gigs at Knebworth and Maine Road.
There is also a possibility they could release new music. In May, their manager, Alec McKinlay, dismissed hopes of new material from the ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ rockers. However, Liam quickly rebutted the claim on X, writing, “the only people that will be making any kind of decisions on the future of OASIS will be ME n RKID so let’s just take it one day at a time.”
Earlier this week, Oasis shared a previously unreleased unplugged version of their classic track,‘Morning Glory’. The new cut is one of five unplugged tracks set to appear on (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition), which is scheduled to be released on October 3rd, 2025.
Last month, during an interview on TalkSPORT, Noel said of the tour so far, “I’m completely blown away. It’s difficult to put it into words, actually. It’s kind of like every night is the crowd’s first night, do you know what I mean? So every night’s got that kind of same energy. It’s been truly amazing.”
