Nirvana have announced plans to release their momentous Live and Loud to vinyl and streaming services for the first time.

The record will include the entirety of the band’s December 1993 live performance at Pier 48, Seattle, a gig which was recorded by MTV as part of their “Live and Loud” segment.

The performance has been written into Nirvana folklore and, in 2013, the band released the recording as a video album, Live and Loud, in 2013 in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the band’s final album, In Utero.

Now though, the record has been made available to pre-order via Rough Trade who list the item with the following description: “Live and Loud showcases the final touring lineup of Cobain, Novoselic, Grohl, and Pat Smear and features their complete Live and Loud show from Seattle’s Pier 48 on December 13, 1993.”

Pre-order the album, here.
