Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds to stream their film ‘Distant Sky’ for free
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have announced plans to broadcast their most recent concert film Distant Sky free via their website.
The film, which was premiered at cinemas around the world 12 months ago, details an extraordinary and triumphant show directed by award winning filmmaker David Barnard.
The performance was recorded at Copenhagen’s Royal Arena in October 2017 and sees the band performing songs from their most recent album Skeleton Tree alongside their extensive back catalogue. “In 2017, the band’s first shows in three years renewed a profound and intimate relationship with their audience, provoking an ecstatic response from fans and critics,” a press release reads.
One year on from the cinematic screening, Distant Sky will be available to screen for a limited time only via Cave’s official website.
