Netflix release new ‘Stranger Things’ teaser
Netflix has released a new Stranger Things season three teaser as the show counts down to its summer release.
Ever since the network announced on New Year’s Day that the show would return on July 4th, anticipation has continued to build.
Now, as the July release date draws closer, Netflix is counting down to summer with a clip of the show’s heartthrob lifeguard, Billy Hargrove, who has the town swooning as he arrives for a shift at the pool.
Back in October 2017, executive producer Shawn Levy explained that the production had set out a detailed plan for the episodes in the planning; he said: “It’ll be an eight or nine-episode season.”
He continued: “The number of episodes will be dictated by the amount of story that excites us. We now know what is going to happen in season three to every character.”
Netflix has already confirmed that Stranger Things 3 will debut in summer 2019. “It’s a handcrafted show,” Cindy Holland, VP of Netflix’s original content, explained. “The Duffer brothers and Shawn Levy have worked really hard, and they understand the stakes are high. They want to deliver something bigger and better than what they did last year. And so they really want to take the time to get it right.”
