Limp Bizkit’s Wes Borland doubles down on Donald Trump criticism: “Fuck Trump, fuck ICE”

After facing online backlash for comments he made against Donald Trump, Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit has doubled down on the sentiment, insisting, “Fuck Trump, fuck ICE.”

Earlier this month, Borland took to his Instagram story to clarify his political stance, writing: “If any of my followers voted or support Trump or are still friends with anyone who supports the Trump administration, you’re out. Fuck you. Never contact me again.”

Borland received much backlash online, some from within his own industry. Attila frontman Chris Fronzak commented on his statement, commenting on X, “I thought he was smarter, kind of a r*tarded thing to say, there’s no reason to lose most of your fan base over a political opinion lmao.”

Borland referenced the general bout of criticism he faced, responding in a follow-up to the original comments, this time with an Instagram post.

The guitarist posted a picture of Satan on Instagram, captioned: “I guess if you’re mad at me say whatever you want to here. I just want everyone to be happy Fuck Trump. Fuck ICE.”

In a message pertinently posted on his birthday, the star added, “Democrats are without leadership except Bernie. Love AOC. So call me a Libtard here. Hail Satan.”

On his Instagram stories, he also added that “y’all hating [him] for not wanting hatred in the world is wild. Fine, keep voting against your best interests and telling [him]: stick to playing guitar. Never heard that one before.”

This is a sentiment he has carried since as far back as 2016, when, similarly, he called for any Trump supporters to “unfollow” him, sharing at the time that he “can’t even sleep knowing that there are so many people out there with bones in the middle of their brains.”

Limp Bizkit is known for being a political band; frontman Fred Durst called out Trump in 2018, insisting “we need a leader.”

Recently, a Limp Bizkit concert was cancelled in Estonia due to Durst’s pro-Russia comments. In 2015, Durst was banned from Ukraine for five years, which they said was “in the interests of guaranteeing the security” of the country.
