Liam Gallagher “forgives” Noel Gallagher and asks for Oasis reunion

Liam Gallagher has seemingly offered an olive branch to his estranged brother Noel and suggested he wants to bring back Oasis.

The brothers, who have seemingly been at war with each since the band split in 2009, have both gone on to have successful solo careers away from Oasis.

In what has been a turbulent relationship since their childhood, the repeated calls for a reunion have been growing stronger since Liam Gallagher’s triumphant return to the stage with his debut solo record As You Were. Now it appears the ball is very much in Noel’s court if we are to see an Oasis reunion.

Liam said: “Earth to Noel listen up rkid I hear your [sic] doing gigs where people can’t drink alcohol now that’s the BeZarist thing you’ve done yet,” in a post on Twitter.

“I forgive you now let’s get the BIG O back together and stop fucking about the drinks are on me LG x,” he added.

In other news, Liam Gallagher has explained how he turns to the music of Beatles icon John Lennon whenever he needs a moment of solace.

Gallagher, who recently played a headline set at Lattitude Festival, was discussing his means of therapy whenever he needs to unwind from stresses of day-to-day life: “I have got John Lennon. Anytime I am in need, man, I just stick him on, all those dark clouds disappear. I do not need therapy. John Lennon is my thing”, he said.

When asked about depression specifically, Gallagher was in a typically confident mood and answered: “‘Fuck that. Have you seen how I look? I am looking great.

“The minute I slip into depression I just have a quick look in the mirror.”
