Lana Del Rey forced to cancel upcoming UK and European tour
Lana Del Rey has been forced to cancel her upcoming UK and European tour due to illness.
Del Rey, who was due to kick off her tour with a headline show at O2 Arena venue in London on February 25th, has been advised by doctors to rest for the next four weeks after losing her singing voice.
Speaking about the cancellation, Del Rey told O2: “Sorry to let everyone down so last minute but this illness has taken me by surprise and have totally lost my singing voice.”
She added: “Dr has advised four weeks off for the moment. I hate to let everyone down but I need to get well. Love Lana.”
The news was confirmed by the music venue who advised ticket holders to contact the appropriate point of sale to gain a refund.
