Kevin Spacey discusses allegations with Tucker Carlson

After being cleared of multiple sexual assault charges earlier this year, Kevin Spacey decided to get in on the conservative grift by sitting down with Tucker Carlson for a Christmas special.

Appearing as his House of Cards character, Frank Underwood, Spacey attacked Netflix for ending their creative partnership. According to the actor, the streaming platform owes its success to his contributions.

Spacey said: “It is bizarre they decided to publicly cut ties with me on allegations alone, allegations that have now been proven false. Because I don’t think there’s any question… Netflix exists because of me. I put them on the map, and they tried to put me in the ground.”

When asked by Tucker whether he’s considering entering the race for the upcoming Presidential elections, Spacey answered in character. In doing so, he also used regurgitated conservative talking points frequently used in the seemingly endless “culture war” debate.

The actor began: “I think we could both agree that we need to get some adults back in the room, so if that means taking on the chief executive role, that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make for this nation.”

Spacey added: “Our country needs to stop apologising and stiffen up. We have so many people running with so many different issues, like gun control, but let’s be honest, more people are killed by online trolls every day.”
