Just Mustard announce new album, ‘We Were Just Here’

Irish band Just Mustard have announced their new album album, We Were Just Here.

Their upcoming third album follows on from their debut, Wednesday, in 2018 and Heart Under, released in 2022. Press materials say it delivers “warped guitars, twisted sound design and cavernous low ends,” but now on a “warmer and more anthemic path.”

The press release for the album also says that the selection of tracks from the five-piece “draw from a wide spectrum of emotion and feeling, with characters searching for ecstasy, holding onto love, and grasping for the rush of feeling alive.”

Just Mustard, formed in 2015 with Katie Ball, David Noonan, Mete Kaylon, Rob Clarke, and Shane Maguire in Dundalk, County Louth, is one of the most exciting bands in the rock scene right now. Robert Smith specially selected them to perform with The Cure on their last world tour, and they have also performed with Depeche Mode and Fontaines DC.

The announcement of We Were Just Here, along with its title track lead single, comes after the band previously released the album’s opening track, ‘Pollyanna’, earlier this year.

Just Mustard are currently set to embark on a string of summer festival dates, with their next appearance taking place on August 16th at Green Man Festival in the Brecon Beacons, Wales.

From there, they will head out on an intimate venue tour in September this year. They are set to visit New York, Berlin, Paris, and London before gearing up for their biggest-ever headline show at the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on May 1st, 2026.

We Were Just Here by Just Mustard will be released on October 17th, 2025, via Partisan Records.
