Jonathan Majors admits to strangling ex-girlfriend in alleged newly released audio footage

Actor Jonathan Majors has admitted to strangling his ex-girlfriend in alleged leaked audio footage which has now been released.

Rolling Stone has obtained the alleged footage. They claim the 28-second clip is a conversation between Majors and Grace Jabbari that occurred in September 2022 while the pair were in London. At the time, Majors was filming the second season of the Disney+ series Loki. The publication says it was recorded in “the aftermath of a days-long fight” between the couple.

Jabbari filed a civil lawsuit against Majors last April, which was eventually settled. In the filing, Jabbari alleged Majors slammed her into a car before dragging her inside their home and strangling her.

At the beginning of the clip, a man who is alleged to be Majors starts by saying, “I’m ashamed I’ve ever— ” before cutting himself off ahead of adding, “I’ve never [been] aggressive with a woman before. I’ve never aggressed a woman — I aggressed you.”

“You strangled me and pushed me against the car,” a woman alleged to be Jabbari responds by saying. Majors then replies, “Yes, all those things are under ‘aggressed,’ yeah.” He also adds: “That’s never happened to me.”

Jabbari proceeds to ask Majors, “Because I said something sarcastically, in your eyes?” The Creed actor says in retaliation, “Well clearly, it’s more than that”. She then replies, “Something inside of you” before Majors adds, “Yeah, towards you”. The recording then abruptly ends.

In December 2023, a six-person jury in New York found Majors guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and guilty of a further charge of harassment against Jabbari. The actor was also found not guilty of one count of assault in the third degree and not guilty of aggravated assault in the second degree.

During an interview with Good Morning America in 2024, Majors maintained that “my hands have never struck a woman, ever” and his new movie, Magazine Dreams, is set for release on March 21st.

Majors is yet to respond to the alleged leaked audio footage.
