Jonathan Majors falls out of window on Daily Wire movie set as crew strike over filming conditions

Footage has emerged of Jonathan Majors falling out of a window on the set of a new movie, produced by Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire.

In February, it was confirmed that the disgraced former Marvel star would be returning to the film industry after being offered a lifeline by the film production arm of the right-wing media organisation, founded by Shapiro in 2015.

Production began in South Carolina in February with Kyle Rankin directing the film, as well as penning the screenplay.

However, it has not got off to a positive start. According to Deadline, which obtained the footage of Majors and his co-star JC Kilcoyne falling out of the window, the union IATSE called a strike on the production on March 26th due to a series of labour issues.

These issues allegedly include having to move filming locations due to black mould and the hiring of special effects advisor Chris Bailey, who pleaded guilty to the illegal possession of explosives on set in 2021 amid a prior criminal conviction.

The strike reportedly gathered pace following the dangerous incident that saw Majors and Kilcoyne fall out of the window while filming, leading to several crew members to stop work on the production.

Deadline report “the accident occurred after the window was replaced with an unsecured sheet of tempered glass to be purposefully shattered in a later stunt that did not involve any actors”.

In response to the incident, Daily Wire didn’t deny the claims put forward by Deadline but, bizarrely, said they “don’t negotiate with communists”.

The untitled action movie marks Majors’ first film shoot in four years after he was found guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and guilty of a further charge of harassment against his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in 2023.

Majors and Kilcoyne are believed to be back on set, despite crew members departing from the movie.

When the film was announced, Shapiro gleefully said, “If you’re upset now, wait until you see this film. You’re heads are going to explode, like actually maybe explode. It’s pretty spectacular stuff that we’re doing.”
