Idles release their new song ‘I Dream Guillotine’


Fresh from being shortlisted for the 2019 Mercury Music Prize, Bristol favourites Idles have released their new song ‘I Dream Guillotine’.

While the acclaim is still running for their bands’ 2018 album Joy As An Act of Resistance—which Far Out named as our best album of the year—Idles are ramping up the excitement around their impending follow-up.

Off the back of their new single ‘Mercedes Marxist’, the band have now unleashed the track’s B-Side ‘I Dream Guillotine’. According to a press release, Idles will be making both songs available as a 7″ vinyl single.

To coincide with the news, the band have also released the new video for the lead single which as been directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. Kris Hitchen, who appeared in Ken Loach film Sorry We Missed You, stars in the clip.
