2014 will forever be the year for Happyness, the year that it all came to fruition, the year that ultimately saw the South London trio make their breakthrough.
In turn, Happyness have announced that the hard work they put in last year has seen them sign to Bar None Records for USA and Moshi Moshi Records for UK/RoW.
To celebrate, the band are kicking off 2015 with a headline slot at Birthdays on Feb 4th, as part of the NME Awards Shows with debut album Weird Little Birthday getting the Enhanced Version 2.0 CD treatment, as well as a long awaited vinyl release – both via Moshi Moshi Records and in early Spring.
As the band ready themselves to announce further UK, EU shows, plus confirmation of a coast to coast US tour, taking in SXSW, and a debut US release of Weird Little Birthday they’ve released a cover of the Norah Jones hit ‘Don’t Know Why’.
The band said: “We’re very happy to have been adopted by the Moshi Moshi family and are looking forward to the NME Awards show on February 4th with Nai Harvest. Thanks, peace, love yourself.”
